Bachelor of Architecture
Northeastern part of the country has developed at slower pace for a long time but like rest of the country this part is also starting to develop and urbanize. At the same time this part of country has very rich and unique culture, art and architecture. But the number of architects from or practicing in this part of the country is very small. With this in mind and to give fillip to the professional education in architecture, the Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical & Technological Sciences (SMU) at Gangtok has decided to establish a school of architecture to cater to the aspiring students of the region along with those from other parts of India and abroad who wish to study architecture in a serene and learning atmosphere of the bountiful Himalayan region.
