Department of Commerce Organises Lecture Session on Career Opportunities and Practical Aspects of Chartered Accountancy
The Department of Commerce, FHSS&LA, Sikkim Manipal University, successfully organised a lecture session on “Career Opportunities and Practical Aspects of Chartered Accountancy” on April 20, 2026, for 70 BCOM students.
The session was conducted by CA Amit Prasad Gupta, an expert Chartered Accountant, who shared valuable insights into the diverse career paths available in the field of Chartered Accountancy. The lecture focused on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, offering students a deeper understanding of the profession.
During the session, the resource person elaborated on:

• Real-world industry practices and expectations
• Importance of practical exposure and skill development
• Guidance on professional growth and career planning
