Dear candidates :

 

You are requested to report for Counselling/Admission at 9:00 A.M. on July 24, 2010 at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Majitar.

 

A written test will be conducted for shorlisting the candidates on the same day.

 

The following documents ( originals and a set of attested copies of the same ) are to be submitted at the time of Admission :

 

1. 10^th Certificate.

2. Undergraduate degree Certificate.

3. Undergraduate degree Mark sheets.

4. Transfer Certificate from College.

5. Character Certificate from last attended college.

6. Migration Certificate from previous University.

7. Five recent passport size photographs.

 

 

The selected candidates will have to take admission on the same day. Classes will commence from July 27, 2010.

 

Full Fees to be paid at the time of admission is Rs 1,32,854 ( One lakh thirty two thousand eight hundred and fifty four) for Admission fees+Hostel fees+Mess Charges.

 

Alternatively, you can also pay a first installment of Rs 90, 604( Ninety thousand six hundred and four ) at the time of admission.

 

The second installment of Rs. 45,300 can be paid later.

 

Fees will have to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology payable at Gangtok or Rangpo.

 

Eligibility :Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level.

 

You can reach SMIT, Majitar from Siliguri/New Jalpaiguri/ Bagdogra Via Taxi/Bus. Taxi stands are available at New Jalpaiguri Railway station, Siliguri, and Bagdogra airport. Sikkim nationalised Transport bus service to gangtok is also available from SNT Bus stand, Siliguri.
