COUNSELING CALL FOR ADMISSION TO B. ARCH. DEGREE COURSE
Dear Applicant,
Based on your NATA Score and 12th Exam Aggregate Marks, you are eligible for admission in the Department of Architecture, SMIT (an institute run by the MANIPAL GROUP in Sikkim). The counseling for the admissions will be held as per the schedule given below:

Place : SMIT Campus, Majitar, Rangpo, Sikkim, India – 737136
Venue : Administrative Building
You are requested to be present for the counseling and admission at the scheduled time and place.
· Your claim for the seat will not be considered if you do not report on or before the given date and time for counseling / admission.
· Allotment of seats will be purely on the basis of the merit list prepared based on your NATA Score and 12th Exam Score. (50% weightage is given to the NATA Score and the other 50% weightage to the 12th Exam Score.)

Following documents (Originals and a set of attested copies of the same) are required to be submitted at the time of admission.
1. 10th Mark sheet
2. 12th (10+2) Mark Sheet
3. Original NATA Score Card
4. Conduct / Character Certificate from school/college
5. Leaving / Transfer Certificate from school/college
6. Migration Certificate from previous University/Board
7. Four recent and identical color passport size photographs
FEES TO BE PAID (Including Hostel + Mess Charges):
You have to make the payment for first year either in full or in installment at the time of counseling.
Full payment : Rs.2,05,592/-
First installment : Rs.1,29,092/-
Payment is to be made by DD drawn in favor of Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology payable at Gangtok.
DECLARATION:
· The number of candidates called for counseling cum admission will be more than the total number of seats available. This is to take care of dropouts at the time of counseling. Mere inclusion in the merit list and call for counseling does not guarantee admission. Admission will exclusively depend on the candidate’s rank, the number of candidates attending the counseling and the number of seats available. .
· Physical presence of the candidate at the counseling is mandatory. In case of any unavoidable circumstances, he/she may authorize another individual to represent him/her at the counseling. This representative must carry the authorization letter and all the necessary documents.
