SMIT is conducting a project entitled "Software Radio System" , sponsored by DRDO, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Rabindranath Bera (HOD E & C Engineering Department, SMIT).

Director, SMIT invites application from Indian Nationals for the following temporary post, co-terminus with the project, on contract basis.

Scientist 'B' :

Gross Salary:    Rs. 30,000 (Approx.)   

Essential qualifications:    B.Tech / M. Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering) /M.Sc     (Electronics)/  Equivalent with first class degree. Knowledge of Electronics System  Design/Computer programming (Matlab/Simulink/VHDL) are essential. Publications in  related  field will be preferred.

Application should be made on plain paper, giving full details of academic qualifications and experience and enclosing self-attested copies of certificates, mark-sheets, testimonials etc and a passport size photograph signed on the back and should reach SMIT by 20th May, 2011. The envelope should be clearly marked and with post name & advertisement no. on the outside. Applications through e-mail will  also be accepted.
