Why SMIT ?
               

The Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology was established in 1997 as a constituent college of Sikkim Manipal University and is approved by AICTE.  The Institute attracts students from all over the country and has over 2700 students enrolled in the various disciplines. SMIT has a unique teacher-guardian scheme and an excelent academic scheme. The Engineering College has its own campus at Majitar, Rangpo East Sikkim. Freeship (No Course Fees for Entire Duration)

It is awarded to meritorious candidates admitted to B.Tech courses. The awarded students need not to pay course fee untill the completion the course. Total 30 students will be awarded in following way:

  • First 10 candidates admitted under AIEEE category having all India rank within 50,000
  • First 10 candidates admitted under MU-OET category having rank within 1000.
  • First 10 candidates scored more than 90% marks in PCM at 10+2 level.
  • One Laptop to each students of B.Tech course are provided free of cost.
