High Tea with Vice Chancellor
Prof. Nikita Joshi Sonowal, along with Samridhi Kahti (BPT 3rd Year) and Raksha Kumari (BPT 2nd Year), were felicitated by the Vice Chancellor, SMIMS, Dr. G. K. Prabhu, during the "High Tea with Vice Chancellor" programme held on 2nd May 2026 for their outstanding achievements.
- Prof. Nikita Joshi Sonowal, Principal and Head of the Sikkim Manipal College of Physiotherapy, was conferred the "Physio Ratan Award" for her excellent contribution to the field of Physiotherapy during the 11th International Physiotherapy Conference of Physical Therapy, AIIMS 2025, held on 13th and 14th December 2025 at the Jawaharlal Auditorium, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
- Raksha Kumari (BPT 2nd Year) secured the 4th Prize at the Youth Parliament competition held on 26th March 2026 at SC Bhawan, Gangtok.
- Samridhi Kahti (BPT 3rd Year) secured the 6th Prize at the Youth Parliament competition held on 26th March 2026 at SC Bhawan, Gangtok.
