BRIEF DESCRIPTION / REPORT WITH GEO-TAGGED PHOTOGRAPH:
A drone videography survey of Majhitar Village was conducted as part of the UBA project titled "Implementation of Community-Based Participatory Research Approach for Resource Mapping of a Remote Village (Majhitar) in Sikkim." Permission for conducting the videography during the specified dates was granted by the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department, Government of Sikkim.
Mr. Aritra Saha from Blackspectro Solutions Pvt. Ltd. carried out the videography using a DJI Mini Pro 4 drone from various locations across Majhitar Village. The activity aimed to generate visual data to support resource mapping and facilitate community-based research initiatives under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan project.
The videography exercise was accompanied by Dr. U.K. Chakraborty, Mrs. Chandralika Chakraborty, Dr. M.K. Roy, Dr. Tanushree Bose, and Mr. Santosh Kumar Das. The collected aerial footage will contribute significantly towards understanding the village's geographical and infrastructural landscape, thereby assisting in effective planning and implementation of developmental activities.
