EVENT DESCRIPTION

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) celebrated Holi 2026 on 4th March 2026 at the Football Ground from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The event was organized under the guidance of the Office of the Associate Director (Student Affairs) and was hosted by the Student Council 2026.

The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff of the institute. The event was also graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj Chettri, Associate Director (Student Affairs), SMIT, whose encouragement contributed to the festive spirit of the occasion.

The campus atmosphere during the celebration was vibrant and cheerful as members of the SMIT community came together to celebrate the festival of colours. The event provided an opportunity for students and faculty to interact beyond academic settings, thereby fostering stronger interpersonal relationships and a sense of belonging within the institution.

Appropriate arrangements were made to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme, including the provision of refreshments for the participants. The celebration reflected the cultural diversity and inclusive spirit of the institute while promoting harmony, mutual respect, and togetherness among the attendees.

The Holi Celebration 2026 concluded successfully with active and enthusiastic participation from the SMIT community. The event not only added joy and excitement to campus life but also strengthened the values of unity, friendship, and cultural appreciation among students and faculty members.
