Silver Jubilee Reunion 2001 Batch & Global Alumni Meet - 2026

Dec 30, 2026

Celebrating Memories, Reconnecting Generations, Strengthening Bonds

Some memories never fade, friendships never grow old, and the bond between an institution and its alumni remains timeless.

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT), Majhitar, Sikkim, is delighted to host the Silver Jubilee Reunion of the 2001 graduating batch, along with the Global Alumni Meet for alumni from all batches, on 30th December 2026.

This special occasion will bring together alumni from different batches to reconnect with their batchmates, meet their seniors and juniors, interact with their beloved faculty members, and revisit the campus where their journeys of learning, friendship, and dreams began. It will be an opportunity to relive the cherished moments of college life, reminisce about the days gone by, share experiences, and celebrate the remarkable journeys that have unfolded since graduation.

For the 2001 graduating batch, completing 25 years since leaving the institute makes this reunion particularly meaningful-a celebration of cherished friendships, shared experiences, and a quarter-century of memories. For alumni from other batches, the Global Alumni Meet will offer an equally special opportunity to renew old connections and strengthen their ties with their alma mater.

At SMIT, alumni are an integral part of the institution's legacy. Gatherings such as these go beyond reunions; they strengthen the enduring relationship between the institute and its alumni, foster a sense of belonging across batches, and inspire a shared commitment to the future of the SMIT community.

As SMIT prepares to welcome its alumni home, the campus awaits the return of familiar faces, joyful reunions, nostalgic conversations, and memories waiting to be relived. Because no matter how far life takes us, the connection with one's alma mater remains forever special.
